This is Matte, named after my favorite photographic printing paper surface and in recognition of the flat black fur she had as a puppy. (When her shiny adult coat grew, I considered renaming her Lucinda.)
For ten years, she has been my "three-stop" dog....a photographer's reference to how much difference there is in the approriate exposure for her and the rest of the picture. I love her dearly--she is my inspiration and great joy.
Here is a hope for you: to find a fountain of unconditional love in your own life and create beauty with it. Best Wishes!
